Description:

Leonard Bane was superintendent of the Open Door Mission (Syracuse, NY). The mission opened in 1900 and worked with drug and alcohol addicts, It was initially affiliated with the Free Methodist Church but soon became non-denominational. By early 1907, Bane and his wife became associated with the Pentecostal movement. Bane left Syracuse in 1907 or 1908.
