Steve Durasoff (1920-2010): Assemblies of God minister, educator, missionary. He was born to Russian immigrant parents in New York City. His academic degrees include B.A. (Shelton College, NYC); M.A. (NYU); Ph.D in Religious education/Russian (NYU). He taught at Oral Roberts University from 1965-1980. In 1980, he and Nadja were AG appointed missionaries to Brussels, where they served at Continental Bible College. He served as professor, Academic Dean, and as President from 1986-1990. From 1990-1996 he made multiple trips to Russia and Eastern Europe assisting in the formation of new Bible schools. He is the author of three books: The Russian Protestants: Evangelicals in the Soviet Union 1944-1964 (1969); Bright Wind of the Spirit (1972); Pentecost Behind the Iron Curtain (1973). He and Nadja retired to Springfield, MO in 1996 where he passed away on May 12, 2010.
