Description:
|
Thomas H. Lowe (1843-1925), a farmer from Indiana, retired and moved to Riverside, California, in about 1908. In this book, Lowe argued for a post-conversion Spirit baptism. He cited scriptures that include references to tongues, but he didn't state that tongues are for today. He expressed strong opposition to church organization. Lowe was apparently a radical Holiness believer, perhaps Pentecostal.
File also includes Thomas H. Lowe obituary (South Bend Tribune, Aug 5, 1925, p. 18)
