In the April 1998 issue of Charisma, Stephen Strang's editorial referred to the Assemblies of God's history of race relations with African Americans. Flower Pentecostal Heritage Center archivist Glenn Gohr wrote a letter to Strang, asserting that some of his facts were incorrect. Strang responded, and George O. Wood responded to Strang with a letter and enclosures.
