Directories: Ministers and missionaries ; Official list of ministers and missionaries

A combined directory: Ministers and missionaries and Churches was published in 1943. It is in box 1/3/1.

From the first General Council in 1914 through 1939, the official list of ministers was included in the publication of the minutes. When the General Council moved to a biennial format after 1921, a separate list of ministers and missionaries was published in the even (non-Council) years. For lists from 1914 through 1921, and odd years 1923-1939, see General Council minutes.

1939 was the last year the list of ministers was included in the General Council minutes. Thereafter, the list of ministers was issued annually as a separate publication.

In addition to the official list of Ministers, there are a limited number of lists of missionaries only. There are unofficial lists, compiled by Gary McGee, for 1914, 1915, 1918-1921. There is an official list of missionaries (published separately from the list of ministers) for 1/1943, 2/1/1953, 2/15/1956, 5/1/1974. These lists are in 5/7/8.

2010 was the last printed version of the directory.
