The Christ's Ambassadors choir of Koudougou was formed in 1960 by missionary Curtis L. Dean and his wife, Jeanne, who is the choir organist. In later years, other missionaries and groups began to follow Koudougou's example, and their choirs are now incorporated into the radio ministries reaching West Africa with VIM KWEEGA (The Living Word) in the Moore language of the Mossi people and with the French broadcast, LE CHANT JOYEUX (The Joyful Song) transmitted for every part of French-speaking Africa.
