Description:

Dr. Bebe H. Patten, born Willie Bebe Harrison, September 13, 1913, began her evangelistic ministry while still in her teens. She graduated from L.I.F.E. Bible college in 1933 and was ordained with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in 1934. In the early 1940's she founded the Christian Evangelical Churches of America and the Oakland Bible Institute, which later became Patten University in Oakland, CA. She died in January 2004 at the age of 90. This file includes items from her early years of ministry.
