Description:

The Uniform Bible Lessons Committee (UBLC) was formed in 1946 by the National Sunday School Association (NSSA), an arm of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE). The name was changed from UBLC to Evangelical Curriculum Commission (ECC) in 1975, then to Pentecostal-Charismatic Curriculum Commission (PCCC) in 1999. Only Pentecostal denominations were participating, and direct affiliation with the NAE ceased in 2006.
The UBLC acted as a committee of the NSSA, which itself ceased to exist in the early 1970s. With the change to the ECC, the commission chose direct membership in NAE. This official membership lasted from 1978 through 2006. At that time, it was determined that the 5 Pentecostal denominations in the PCCC (formerly ECC) were all members of the NAE, so that actual membership of the PCCC was not necessary.
This certificate states 'Member since: 1978' and 'Valid through: February 1995.'
