Atlanta Georgia Hardy Wilkerson (1919-1995), an independent Pentecostal minister, founded The Gospel of Peace (Los Angeles, CA) in 1970. The ministry included The House of Peace, which housed a non-denominational congregation and Bible college. Her first husband's name was Daniel B. Wood. Her second husband's name was William A. Hardy (they were married 1970-1979). Later in life she reverted to her maiden name, Wilkerson.

Kendall Albright, a former student of Atlanta Hardy Wilkerson, compiled and edited her teachings into this book.
