Springfield schools consolidation

Springfield, MO : Executive Leadership Team, 2010-

In its November 2010 meeting, the Executive Presbytery authorized the Executive Leadership Team and select members of the executive Presbytery to meet with the presidents and board chairs of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Central Bible college, and Evangel University to initiate action that would lead to the consolidation of these three schools. The meeting took place on December 20, 2010 in which each board of directors took action to approve going forward with the consolidation efforts through the appointment of a Task Force. This file includes resolutions, reports, etc., on the progress of the consolidation process. At the 54th General Council (Aug. 2011), which met in Phoenix, AZ, the resolution was presented and passed.
