Description:
|
Consists of the transcript of an interview on the Building Bridges with Greg Johnson podcast. Host Greg Johnson interviews Glyn and Jena Jones, who left their home and businesses in San Diego to follow God's leading. At first, they did not know where that calling would take them. Through the outworking of that call and a variety of circumstances, they had the opportunity to establish the Short Creek Dream Center in Hildale, UT. This is a community formerly dominated by the Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints (FLDS) church organization. The Dream Center is able to minister to a wide variety of needs in the community, including women and children who are looking for new hope.
The Short Creek Dream Center was sponsored by the Phoenix (AZ) Dream Center, a large Assemblies of God church and service agency.
Recorded at the Short Creek Dream Center (Hildale, UT) and posted at youtube.com May 14, 2020.
Greg Johnson has been a Baptist pastor and is founder and president of Standing Together (Salt Lake City, UT).
Transcription by Katherine Pollock for the Flower Pentecostal Heritage Center.
