Description:

Wilma E. Humphries, 1914-1992, a Pentecostal minister and missionary evangelist. She served for many years (1934-1958) with her husband, J.J. Humpries, a one-time AG pastor, evangelist, and Kentucky District superintendent. They also pastored and evangelized in Open Bible churches. Following her husband's death in 1958, she entered missionary evangelistic work first in Jamaica and eventually traveled to 57 different countries. Along with ministry to adults, she conducted 'Sunshine Bible Crusades,' ministering to children in many of those countries. Due to failing health, she retired to Mesa, Arizona, in February 1989. She passed away on September 29, 1992.
