This tract includes reprints of two articles first published in The Daily Journal (Elizabeth, NJ), April 12, 1969. The first article, 'Fighting parson kin leads crusade : Rev. Caldwell descendant saves souls,' notes that William Caldwell is a descendant of James Caldwell, a Revolutionary War minister in Union County, NJ. The second article, 'Murder of cleric's wife in 1780 inspired official county seal,' notes that James Caldwell's wife was killed by a British soldier.
