Description: Postcard of a group of missionaries to India with the Örebro Mission of Sweden; circa 1910. Pictures include female missionaries Lydia Magnusson, Nanna Sjöqvist, Helga Modigh and Anna Andersson and male missionaries Frans Henriksson, Karl Hammarsten and C E Sjögren.
The Örebro Mission (a Baptist organization) was founded by John Ongman in 1892. When the Pentecostal movement began in Sweden in 1907, Ongman accepted Pentecostal gifts but remained independent of the Filadelfia Church (Stockholm) and the other organized Pentecostal churches.
