Description:	The author is an independent Pentecostal evangelist. Bud Chambers shares his thoughts concerning Marjoe Gortner, particularly concerning the movie, 'Marjoe,' which had been released recently. Some scenes for the movie had been shot during a Chambers tent revival in Fort Worth, Texas. Chambers apologizes for having any part in this process and relates that he was deceived into allowing the use of his facility. 'Marjoe' was a documentary which examined the life of child prodigy evangelist Marjoe Gortner. It then looked at his ministry as a young adult when he admitted preaching only for the money. Gortner provided narration and comments, as well as scenes from his preaching. Marjoe's father, Vernon Gortner, had been ordained with the Assemblies of God. Marjoe was the grandson of AG minister, J. Narver Gortner.
