Title supplied by cataloger. The term, student's pledge, does appear on the item.
This copy signed by Lester Larson, April 16, 1935.
NCBI experienced an early controversy. Several faculty members and students were influenced by an evangelist to reject the doctrine of eternal damnation. Apparently one or more faculty members were dismissed, leading to a student 'rebellion.' Classes were temporarily halted. This item is a pledge for students to sign indicating their committment to abide by school regulations and doctrine or to 'quietly and peacibly' withdraw. It is stated that classes could resume once the students had signed the pledge and repented for the disruptions.
