Description:

Shield of Faith Bible School began in Amarillo, TX, in 1931, and moved to Fort Worth in 1935. Southern Bible Institute began at Goose Creek, TX in 1931, then moved to Houston in 1933. In 1940, SBI merged with Shield of Faith in Fort Worth under the name South Central Bible Institute. Southwestern Bible School was established at Enid, OK, in 1927. In 1941, Southwestern merged with SCBI in Fort Worth, and the name was changed to Southwestern Bible Institute. The school moved to Waxahachie, TX, in 1943. The name was changed to Southwestern Assemblies of God College in 1963, and University in 1994.

The handkerchief is pink silk trimmed in yellow lace. It is printed with the shield of faith logo, Shield of Faith Bible Institute, Fort Worth, Texas, Rev. Guy Shields president & founder. A drawing of the school appears in the middle.

The item is very fragile.
