The Homeland Harmony Quartet began at the Bible Training School of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and was later affiliated with the denominational music publishers, Tennessee Music and Printing Company. By the time of this recording, about 1953, it is unclear how many of the active members were Pentecostal, although the group was still anchored by Connor Hall of the Church of God.
