Description:

The Blackwood Singers is one of several groups which trace their roots to the original Blackwood Brothers Quartet who were members of First Assembly of God (Memphis, TN). The Blackwood Singers first began when Donna, wife of R. W. Blackwood, Jr., was asked to fill in for one of the male positions in an earlier quartet. The Blackwood Singers name has been used at various times. Since about 1990, the group has performed regularly in Pigeon Forge, TN, or Branson, MO.
This is a re-issue of the songs from the album A wonderful feeling (1973). A copy of that album was seen at Graceland in Elvis Presley's personal music library in 2005, leading to this re-issue project.
Contents: Wonderful feeling/Before I found the Lord -- I'm gonna write a song -- I've come too far to turn back now -- Before He calls again -- Jesus loves me -- Keep on holdin' on -- The third man -- Lay all my burdens down -- Ten thousand years -- Didn't He shine
