Description:

The Invisible Church (London, England) was founded in 1977 by Nelson Nurse and his wife, Shaneen. The Nurses previously lived in South Africa, where they founded a network of Invisible Church congregations, including Hillbrow (1972) and Durban (1975). The London congregation became a prominent part of the Jesus movement, with outreaches in the Netherlands and in other countries. The Nurses moved to Australia in 1985.

The newsletter title and format varied. The 1978 issues were mimeographed sheets of paper. Starting in 1979, newsletters were published in a tract format and were widely distributed. Newsletters included articles by Nelson Nurse, David Muir, Juliet Middleton, and others.
