On plate: Artist's drawing of the new church. At top: Galena Assembly of God Church, Galena, Kansas. Below: 1903, 1914-1980, Dedication-Memorial. Plate is white; printing is red; gold edge.
On back of plate: Oldest Assembly of God Church. The Galena Assembly was founded with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in 1903. First service in the home of Mary Arthur (who became the first pastor)..[mentions 3 other locations]... The Lord built the 'New Galena Assembly' in 1980...dedication of the new church, November 30, 1980.

As of 2018, the Galena Assembly of God continues in existence, but now occupies an older Presbyterian church building near downtown Galena. Since 2014, the building pictured on the plate has been the home of Christpoint Church, a Pentecostal Church of God congregation formerly located in Joplin, MO. A much larger sanctuary has been added to the facility pictured on this plate.
