Contents: Two July 1899 letters from S.B. Osborn to W.J. Martindale, S.W. Kansas Conference of the M.E. church withdrawing from the church over doctrinal issues, along with Martindale's letter of regrets and 'kindest wishes' wherever he may labor' [damaged copy]. -- August 1899 letters from John Alexander Dowie declaring both Stephen B. Osborn and Claudia L. Osborn as duly ordained with the Christian Catholic Church. -- November 1899 letter to S.B. Osborn from John Alexander Dowie enclosing Osborn's allowance for the month, pledging prayer for God's blessings in their district (Dodge city, KS), and requesting prayer for the work at headquarters where the enemy has been presenting 'a very bold front in Holy War.' -- An August 1902 letter to S.B. Osborn from Jane Dowie concerning a marital problem in the church; Sis. Dowie also mentions in an October 1902 letter the necessity of establishing a 'Branch of Women's Dorcas Work.' -- A July 1905 letter from Stephen Merritt to Elder William Far concerning a visit to Zion. -- A January 1907 letter to a Sister Betty Kelso from Claudia Osborn discussing a meeting in which a young lady began to speak in tongues. She described at 'perfectly lovely.' A note added by S.B. Osborn describing and defending meetings under Bro. Cook's ministry. He urges Sis. Kelso to 'try the Spirit yourself.' -- A March 1907 letter from S.B. Osborn to General Overseer [Voliva] concerning the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. At this point he has no intention of leaving the C.C.A.C. in Zion. -- In an April 19, 1907 letter, S.B. Osborn encloses their letter of withdrawal from the C.C.A.C.; Voliva's letter of acceptance with these words, 'May God, in His infinite mercy, speedily deliver you from the horrible delusion to which you have fallen victims.' -- A couple of letters to Mrs. Osborn in 1908 and 1909 chiefly personal but mentioning several acquaintances from Zion. -- A 1927 letter from D.B. Rickard to S.B. Osborn discussing news about the controversy in Zion. He recommends leaving judgment until the Lord comes. -- A September 1927 letter to Brother Osborn from David Buchanan mostly personal in nature but also mentions the 'power of the fuller revelation.'
