Written on the back of the photo: Wayside Tabernacle Assembly of God. corner of Kickapoo & Harrison - Springfield, MO. Now Oak Grove Assembly of God. This was once a 'Horse Barn.' Gypsy Johnson started the church I believe in the 50s. Carl Hass was [3rd] pastor. He left in [1954]. Paul J. Young was asked by the district to become pastor in Nov. 1955. Paul pastored until Feb. 1960 when he left to accept the First Assembly in Lake Providence, La. The building was torn down and has homes on the property.
