Lucy Austin Collier, also known as 'Little Lucy Smith,' was a black gospel singer and musician. She was the granddaughter of Elder Lucy Smith, the pastor of Chicago's All Nations Pentecostal Church. She showed an amazing musical aptitude and became church organist at age 12. She formed a group, the (Little) Lucy Smith Singers, with Gladys Beamon (Gregory), Catherine Campbell, and Sarah McKissick (Simmons). She later played and sang with her stepmother's group, the Roberta Martin Singers.
