Archibald McCaig was principal emeritus of Spurgeon's College (London, England)
McCaig documents the life and ministry of Cornelius Martens, who was born in a German Mennonite colony in Russia in 1876. Martens became a preacher among Baptist and Mennonite churches and alos worked closely with William Fetler. Fetler, a graduate of Spurgeon's College, was deeply impacted by the Welsh Revival and also identified with the Pentecostal movement. He was both Baptist and Pentecostal and established churches in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Riga, Latvia. Fetler also published under the pseudonym of Basil A. Malof.
