Item consists of artwork depicting Ruth and Naomi embracing in a field. Artwork is done by adding layers of material, constituting a 'flannelgraph' portrait. Framed.
Rev. Favro originated this style of artwork, using layers of colored cloth that would adhere together. The process became known as flannelgraph.
Although active in wider evangelical circles earlier in his career, Rev. Favro and his wife, Alice Mae, attended the Garr Memorial Church, an Assemblies of God church in Charlotte, NC, in their later years.
