Description:
|
Result of the hearing (Findings of fact, conclusions of law, and disciplinary order) concerning charges against Thomas DeVol, whose license as a psychologist was in question due to counseling clients concerning demon possession and other charges concerning his practice. The result of this hearing before the State Committee of Psychologists was that DeVol's license was revoked. While this summary gives the result and lists several categories of charges, it does not list the specific charges that were stated in a hearing before the Administrative Hearing Commission.
DeVol was a former Assemblies of God missionary.
File also contains the decision (8 p., computer print, 18 Sep 2007) of the Department of Health and Human Services, Departmental Appeals Board, which affirmed that DeVol could not receive funds from federal health care programs, including Medicare and Medicaid. Following the revocation of his Missouri license, he was deemed inelligible to receive such funds.
