Franklin Gospel Tabernacle was a non-denominational church founded by Louis Paul Lehman. Jr. at the age of 15 in 1929. His father, Louis Paul Lehman, Sr., was the business manager and music director. Many of the well-known evangelists of the day spoke there including Billy Sunday, Dr. J. C. Massee, Dr. A. P. Gouthey, and later Kathryn Kuhlman.
