A/G appointed missionary who served from 1940-1950 in the Philippines and China. She was among those interned in a Japanese prison camp in the Philippines during World War II. After returning to the States, she worked with Native Americans in Arizona until her retirement. She passed away Apr 26, 2001.
Contents: This folder contains scraps of paper on which Doris wrote scripture passages, sermons notes, etc. It also includes various other clippings of interest to Miss Carlson and a letter written in Chinese to 'My dear English teacher Carlson.'
