While information and reports from departments may be included in the General Council minutes, at least as early as 1923 a separate publication was produced with reports and/or financial information. These were produced to coincide with each General Council through 1969. Beginning in 1971, a separate report publication, the Biennial report, has been produced. Since that represents a change of format and focus, they are cataloged separately (ID: 30419).

In addition to the reports published for the General Council sessions in odd-numbered years, beginning in 1952 (or earlier), similar reports were published in the even-numbered years. These were submitted for the General Presbytery meetings during those years between General Council sessions. These reports continued beyond the change of the odd-numbered format to the Biennial report. These even-numbered reports are included on this record.

The reports generated for General Council (odd-numbered years) are filed with the minutes.

Reports for even-numbered years are in boxes 1/6/2 and 1/7/4.

Report for 1952 (Report of the General Treasurer and balance sheets) consists of loose sheets. Report for 1972 was an informal report attached to the minutes. These two were not printed like the rest of the reports.
