Fred Smolchuck served as pastor of Slavic A/G churches in Claremont, NH (1937-1941), Newark, NJ (1941-1945), New York City (1945-1947), and Detroit, MI (1952-1964). He also served as Superintendent of the Ukrainian Branch (1947-1952) and Secretary-Treasurer of the Michigan District (1964-1983). Smolchuck was a leader within Slavic Pentecostalism, both in the U.S. and in eastern Europe.
Sermons (chiefly 1930s-1960s) by Fred Smolchuck, in English and Ukrainian. Also contains a small collection of funeral sermons (1980s) containing biographical information about members of Slavic Pentecostal churches.
The sermons do not appear to be in any particular order. Some of the binders had dates on the spines, however, the sermons in the binders did not necessarily correspond to those dates. The sermons have been removed from the binders and placed in folders. The folders are labeled according to the information on the binders from which the sermons were removed.
