On plate: Artist's drawing of the church. Below: Central Assembly of God, 2225 East Central, Wichita, Kansas. Plate is white; printing is black; gold edge.

On back of plate: List of pastors, list of charter members (1947), Sunday school information, brief history of building (1948, new sanctuary erected; 1950, south educational building added; 1951, new parsonage built; 1954, west 2-story educational building added), WMC officers for 1957.

Plate was probably prepared for the 10-year anniversary of the church (Sept 1957); see also: Anniversary program (ID: 44679).

Around 1980, the name was changed to Calvary Assembly of God. At a later date, it moved to another location. The church closed in 2017.

The church location became Calvary Apostolic Church (or Calvary Hill Apostolic Church) at an unknown date. The facility on Central Avenue is much different from what is shown on this plate. It is unclear whether the Assembly of God church did further renovations before moving or if the successors renovated/rebuilt on the site. It is unclear if part of the church depicted on the plate remains in the current facility as of 2018.
