Description:
|
This periodical was edited and published anonymously by A.B. Simpson from July 1902-Sept 1907.
These pages include an editorial by A. B. Simpson in which he advocates for present-day spiritual gifts and manifestations, while taking a cautious approach toward speaking in tongues. He argues for the validity of speaking in tongues and presents the testimony of a 'Norwegian minister' (T. B. Barratt). At the same time, Simpson cautions against the extremes he senses within the tongues movement.
The article included in this file is the testimony of T. B. Barratt concerning his receipt of the Pentecostal baptism with speaking in tongues. Barratt became the leader of the early Pentecostal movement in Norway.
