Caption with the photo says: BGMC AWARD WINNERS. For the sixth consecutive year the Eastern District of the Assemblies of God has won first place in annual total giving to the Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade, while the New York District has placed second for the fifth consecutive year. Total BGMC giving for the Eastern District during 1969 was $27,856.44. The second-place winner contributed $15,614.49. District Sunday School Directors Edward Spinola, New York (left), and Harold Crosby, Eastern (center), were awarded 8-track stereo tape recorders for their districts' achievements. An accompanying taped message of thanks and congratulations, to be played to the churches of their districts, also was included. The awards were made by W. E. Kirschke, national Secretary of the Sunday School Department, during the District Sunday School Director's Seminar.
