John A. Lovell, a proponent of British-Israel doctrine, was director of the Kingdom Tract Society. He was baptized in the Spirit in 1954 at Hemphill Heights Assembly of God (Fort Worth, TX). He had pastored Baptist or independent churches since the 1920s.
Jay C. Kellogg (1893-1961) was pastor of Kay Street Baptist Church (Tacoma, WA) in the 1920s. In the 1930s, he became an independent evangelical evangelist. He preached extensively at Angelus Temple (Los Angeles, CA) and in other Foursquare congregations in the 1930s.
