Description:

Marvin V. Frey, a minister with the Independent Assemblies of God, founded Bethel Children's Camp (Stephentown, NY) in 1956. In the early 1970s, the name of the organization changed to the Children's Camp Fund of New York (later Children's Fund of New York). Marvin served as director until his death in 1992, when his widow, Helen Frey, became director.

Fruitful Fields was succeeded by City Children's News.
