Caption on the back of the photo: 'BROADWAY'S SALVATION ARMY GIRL' RESTING IN FLORIDA. photographed on the golf links at St Petersburg, Fla MISS RHEBA CRAWFORD, pretty young evangelist who resigned from the Salvation Army because of publicity incident to her arrest while holding her regular Sunday evening divine services on the street near Broadway, New York. It was alleged that the crowd which collected to hear her obstructed traffic. Miss Crawford is now resting at the 'Sunshine City', where she will hold a brief evangelistic campaign. 10/26/23.
Rheba Crawford, a onetime associate of Aimee Semple McPherson at Angelus Temple, served also with the Salvation Army, the Congregational Church, and with the North China Mission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
