Prophecy charts used by W. David Burris (1887-1959). Burris was ordained with the Assemblies of God, served as Arkansas District Superintendent, and was known as a prophecy teacher. He used these charts in his teaching at least by the early 1940s into the 1950s.

Burris did not make these charts himself. There is no indication of who did the artwork, but someone else created the charts under the direction of Rev. Burris.

Holdings: 4 rolled charts on canvas-like cloth

Chart 1: The beasts from Daniel's visions in Daniel chapters 7 and 8. From chapter 7: a winged lion; a bear; a leopard with 4 wings and 4 heads; a nondescript beast with ten horns, plus one 'horn' depicted with a human head. From chapter 8: a ram with two horns; a 'he goat' with a third horn like a unicorn; the head only of this goat with the 'unicorn' horn removed, but with 4 horns, plus a fifth 'horn' with a human head. (36 x 48 in.)

Chart 2: A chart representing the 7 seals, 7 trumpets, and 7 vials from Revelation chapters 6, 8-11, 15-16 (Representative of the Tribulation period.) (47 x 39 in.)

Chart 3: Image of a woman standing in front of the sun (text indicates 'clothed with the sun') with 12 stars, possibly olive branch in upraised left hand (from Revelation 12:1) (36 x 46 in.; image is 30 x 30 in.)

Chart 4: Images of 2 beasts: 1) Woman riding upon a scarlet beast with 7 heads and 10 horns (from Revelation 17:1-4); 2) Beast ('dragon') with 7 heads, 7 crowns, and 10 horns; tail is pointing to 11 stars (from Revelation 12:3-4; represents the dragon that persecutes the woman depicted in Chart 3) (36 x 37 in.)
