Caption on the back of the photograph says: STREET CLEANER ORDAINED AS BISHOP. With this religious ceremony, the Rev. Eustacio Paolicelli, New York street cleaner, became a bishop of the Church of God May 5 at Jamaica, N.Y. Temple. Bishop Paolicelli is kneeling with this wife as clergymen lay their hands upon his head in the consecration. The clergymen are, left to right, the Right Rev. Homer A. Tomlinson, Bishop of New York; the Right Rev. Samuel Gogoff, of the Russian Church of God, Jersey City, N.J., and the Rev. Samuel Mighton of the Brooklyn Church of God.
