He also helped in the establishment of the Assemblies of God in New Zealand and Australia. He was never ordained with the AG in the U.S. Adolfo's son, Alfred Valdez, Sr. (sometimes known as A. C. Valdez, Jr.) was also an important U.S. Pentecostal preacher and healing evangelist. His story is briefly included in this biographical sketch.
