In the Fall of 1922, there were German AG churches scattered throughout the country with a great distance separating them. Several of the German congregations accepted the invitation of Rev. H.A. Ulrich, pastor of Bethel Temple in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to a conference held November 17-24, 1922, in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Most of the attending pastors agreed to form the 'German Branch' of the Assemblies of God. Several other foreign language branches did the same. At the 1973 General Council, all foreign language branches transitioned to district status. The bulk of these files are from the 1960s to 2000. They are filed in alphabetical order except the individual ministers files, which are filed last.
