This is one of several spin-off groups from the original Blackwood Brothers. It is led by R. W. Blackwood, Jr. He is the son of R. W. Blackwood, one of the original quartet members who was killed in the plane crash in 1954. R. W., Jr. sang in several associated groups, including this one, billed simply as the Blackwoods. A later version of this group would have long-running shows in Pigeon Forge, TN, and Branson, MO.
Also on this album is Donna Blackwood, wife of R. W., Jr. The other 2 singers are not named.
