Description: Motor vehicle license plate, tag number: 'COGIC.' From Holmes County, Mississippi.

This license plate design was introduced in late 2012. This particular plate has 3 or 4 layers of stickers, indicating it was first issued in 2015 or 2016. The current expiration date showing is February 2019. Original owner is unknown.

Holmes County is a mostly rural county in central Mississippi, about 60 miles north of Jackson. The county seat is Lexington. Lexington is considered the birthplace of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), which was organized following a revival there in 1897.
