Description: An example of a Busy Bee beehive used to collect money for foreign missions; 2013. In 1928, the Assemblies of God Foreign Missions Department began the Busy Bee missionary giving plan. Adults and children were encouraged to fill little wooden Busy Bee beehives with coins for special missionary offerings. The program lasted until the late 1940s and was replaced by Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade.
