Pin consists of 2 elements fastened by a small chain. Both pieces have a safety-pin style clasp on the back. One piece is a small sword or dagger, 2 cm. in length. On the front is '1st class.' The second piece is a round pin, The face is navy blue with gold accents. In the center is an open Bible (white with gold trim). Around that are the letters 'R W T C.;

R.W.T.C. is the Reserve Workers' Training Corps. According to an ad in the Pentecostal Evangel (21 May 1949), the program is 'designed to prepare young people for the work of teaching in the Sunday School.'
