Description:

M. E. (Mahlon E.) Layne, an active A/G layman, provided funds for the establishment of the Layne Hospitality Home of San Diego in 1941. The home served as a temporary residence for Navy men who desired to be in a Christian environment while on leave. The home housed thirty men. Retired A/G pastor Irvin Rattan and his wife Bertha served as the first directors of the home.

Contents: Information about the new website (with photos), personal stories about the history of the Home, a few pictures of the Home.
