James Linzey wrote this one as a Pentecostal chaplain when he served as the first full time chaplain for the Leaders' Training Course which is under the US Army Cadet Commans at Fort Knox, KY. The prayer was distributed to the ROTC Cadets, printed in graduation bulletins, and put on a brass plaque in the US Army Cadet Command Headquarters--James F. Linzey, Chaplain (MAJ), USA (Ret.)
