George O. Wood is pictured on page 4 among the marchers paying tribute to slain Civil Rights protester Rev. James L. Reeb. At the time, Wood was a student at Fuller Theological Seminary. He later became general superintendent of the Assemblies of God. The Christian Beacon was published by the International Council of Christian Churches (the fundamentalist group founded by Carl McIntyre).
