Description:

Global Missions, Inc. was a missions agency started in 1944 by personnel from Bethel Bible Institute (Saskatoon, SK), a Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada school. George Hawtin served as first president. Sharon Orphanage and Schools (North Battleford, SK) was started in 1946 by Herrick Holt, the pastor of the Foursquare Church in North Battleford. In 1947 Hawtin and most of the leaders and students left Bethel Bible Institute and formed Sharon Bible College, an independent school established in conjunction with Sharon Orphanage and Schools. Global Missions, Inc. became the missions arm of Sharon Schools. A significant revival began at Sharon Bible College in February 1948. An offshoot of this revival, known as the New Order of the Latter Rain, is often confused with Sharon Schools.

This is a 1998 reprint of the 1978 original edition.

The author, Arthur G. Wagar, was a student at Sharon in 1948 when the outpouring began. He was a member of the 5-fold traveling ministry for over 50 years.
