Description: Dedication service of the Jamaica Tabernacle, Jamaica, New York, pastored by Homer A. Tomlinson; October 1926. Homer Tomlinson is standing in the center of the platform with two unidentified men on either side. The congregation is seated. The Sunday school enrollment and orchestra can be seen. That day the service was being broadcast live on radio.

This church was known as the Jamaica Tabernacle and was pastored by Homer A. Tomlinson, son of A. J. Tomlinson. At that time it was part of the 'Church of God, over which A. J. Tomlinson is overseer' which later became known as the Church of God of Prophecy.
